Southern Dutchess Concert Band
Pack your picnic and bring the family to enjoy this free concert with band leader Dave Cole and the Southern Dutchess Concert Band on the great lawn just south of the historic Locust Grove Mansion! Bring your own chairs and blankets and celebrate live music among the flowers and trees at our historic estate. Thank you to an anonymous donor for sponsoring this cultural event at Locust Grove.

Sample culinary tastings from celebrated Hudson Valley Chef Mike Polasek of Simply Gourmet paired with three fine tastes of wine and a wine presentation from a local Wine Expert. Round out the evening with a tour of our heirloom flower gardens or kitchen gardens that inspire our celebrated local chef!

Locust Grove Car Show
Hosted by Hudson Valley Auto Enthusiasts
Come enjoy hundreds of antique and classic cars!
All vehicles are welcome
Those made before 2000 are eligible for prizes
Food will be available for purchase throughout the show
Best viewing before 2 PM; This event is rain or shine.
Spectators: $10/Person, CASH ONLY AT THE GATE, Kids under 12 are FREE
Car Show Entrants: Cars older than 1927 enter for free.
To pre-register your car for $15, fill out the form linked below and return it to Locust Grove with payment. Your form and payment must be in by July 1st!
Registration on the day of the show is $20 at the door.
Due to the Car Show, there will be no Mansion Tours on July 13th

Chef Yolanda Lee of Hungry for Travel will prepare 3 tasting courses, paired with wine and a wine presentation from Hopewell Wine and Spirits.
Round out the evening with a tour of our heirloom flower gardens or kitchen gardens that inspire our celebrated chef!

Menu: A Culinary Journey!
First Course
Forbidden Black Rice Salad: Forbidden black rice infused with coconut milk and lemongrass, topped with roasted golden beets, charred tomatoes, and shaved fennel. Finished with a fresh basil citrus vinaigrette and toasted coconut flakes.
Second Course
Slow-Braised, Grilled Baby Back Ribs: Tender baby back ribs glazed with pineapple and mango chipotle for a smoky-sweet flavor. Served with a refreshing slaw of shaved cabbage, radish, green apples, mango, and pineapple, lightly sweetened with honey and brightened with a splash of lime juice.
(Vegetarian Alternative: Grilled king oyster mushrooms or smoked jackfruit paired with the same slaw.)
Third Course
Peach Bread Pudding: Warm bread pudding with caramelized peaches, drizzled with bourbon caramel anglaise. Garnished with candied pecans for a delightful crunch.
