Weddings & Events at Locust Grove
Locust Grove is a not-for-profit museum and nature preserve located in the heart of the Hudson Valley, just off Route 9 in Poughkeepsie New York. All event rental fees support our historic site.
With views of the Hudson River, extensive gardens and a modern Visitor’s Center, Locust Grove is a beautiful setting for events throughout the year.

Our West Gallery, located in our Visitors Center, can accommodate up to 150 guests for weddings and private parties. Guests can enjoy cocktails on the adjacent covered terrace. French doors provide access to 200 acres of gardens and grounds.

Our Garden Lawn or Mansion Lawn can be rented for your outdoor ceremony. In case of inclement weather, our Reese Gallery can be used for your ceremony. All rentals includes tables and chairs, a caterer’s kitchen, air conditioning, ample restroom facilities, and easy parking.

Locust Grove only schedules one event each evening (all events start after 5 pm), so you and your guests are assured a very private event.
