Saturdays & Sundays, September 23 - October 29 & Mondays, October 9 and October 30

Harvest Hunt Family Program:  "A Day in the Life at Locust Grove in 1901!"

Join us for an entertaining AND educational scavenger hunt for 20 decorated pumpkins that celebrate the people who lived AND worked at the historic estate in the year 1901.   Learn about the Young Family, William and Martha and their children, Annette and Innis, and all the people who worked at Locust Grove.

What did the children do for fun in the year 1901 when there were no cars, computers, or cell phones?  Who washed the clothes?  Who fed the chickens?  What was teatime like?  Who drove them to town in the carriage?

Enjoy this fabulous one of a kind story walk/scavenger hunt outdoors among the historic trees and flowers and let the decorated pumpkins tell the whole story!   Pick which time you'd like to enter the grounds for your self-guided tour!  We give you a map, you bring your imaginations!  Costumes encouraged!

Harvest Hunt is sponsored by Ulster Savings and Stewart's Shops!

$10/Person, Children under 4 are FREE .
