Now more than ever we need your help to continue the mission of Locust Grove as a landmark and community resource for Poughkeepsie and the surrounding Hudson Valley. If you are able, a donation will help ensure that we’ll be able to serve more than 75,000 visitors this year, as well as help with further restorations.
For more than two hundred years the Locust Grove Estate has worked to preserve nearly 200 acres of open space that includes wooded walking trails, views of the Hudson River, beautiful flower and vegetable gardens, and of course, the historic mansion with its extensive art collection.
Locust Grove relies on the generosity of visitors and donors to support our programs and maintain our buildings and gardens for the enjoyment of all as we do not receive operating support from the local, state, or Federal government.
Every dollar you give goes directly to support our operations and preservation!
Lead Donor $10,000 – can add new garden programs for public enjoyment
Sustaining Donor $5,000 – can add a bench to the gardens or grounds
Contributor $1,000 – can open a new online exhibit
Supporter $500 – can replant a historic tree
Sponsor $250 – can plant new flowers in a garden bed
Friend $100 – can restructure a garden bed
