Center Guest Room

The Morse family, chronically short of bedrooms for at least seven family members and probably as many servants, most likely used this as a family bedroom.  It was redecorated for the Young family when they moved in and used as a guest bedroom after 1901.

Like most guest rooms, this was a multi-purpose space.  With plenty of storage furniture, it was a handy place to keep out-of-season clothing and linens, and it probably served as an indoor playroom for Annette and Innis when they were still children.
