This room was redecorated for Annette Young in 1895. Annette used this room until her mother died in 1946 and she moved into the redecorated Primary Bedroom.

Annette, like the rest of her family, was passionate about historic preservation and environmental conservation and upon her death in 1975 created a trust to protect the Locust Grove estate for “the enjoyment, visitation, and enlightenment of the public.”
