1830s & 1840s Clothing of Locust Grove

More than 2,000 pieces of clothing are included in the Young family collection - the pieces on this page date from the 1830s and 1840s. They belonged to Hylah Hasbrouck and were worn at Locust Lawn in Gardiner, New York. Hylah's great-granddaughter, Annette Young, inherited these pieces and donated them to the museum she founded to preserve Locust Grove, Locust Lawn, and her family's collections.
