Your tour will begin with an orientation video at the Visitor Center, followed by a short walk to the house which is situated on 150 acres of spreading lawns, magnificent trees, and elegant gardens overlooking Hudson River. Expert guides will conduct visitors throughout the three floors of the house which are furnished with extensive collections of American and European furniture and paintings exhibited in period-room settings. The tour will conclude with a return to the Visitor Center and a self-guided tour of the exhibits which include telegraph equipment and paintings by Samuel Morse. The unique Museum Shop, opulent gardens and lush grounds are also available for visitors. |
