Morse (1857-1923) was Samuel Morse's youngest son. Born at Locust Grove,
Edward studied art in Berlin and Paris and lived abroad for much of his
life. Best known for "Samuel Morse: Letters and Journals," a
biography of his father, Edward's art career never reached beyond the stage
of accomplished amateur.
